Stephen Conway

Managing Director

Stephen is the Managing Director of Conway Engineering and is both a Chartered Engineer and Chartered Accountant.

He has over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry as Technical Lead and Project Manager on major drainage and wastewater projects, both as Contractor and Consultant. He has extensive experience in the planning, design, construction and commissioning of upgrades to existing wastewater treatment plants along with experience in the delivery of regional delivery programmes of works.

Jennifer MacNamara 

HSQE and Commercial Director

Jennifer is HSQE and Commercial Director for Conway Engineering. She has over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry as both Contractor and Consultant. As HSQE & Commercial Director, she is responsible for the management of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental for all departments with the added responsibility for all tendering and business development.

Ronan Kirby

Contracts Manager

Ronan is a qualified Civil Engineer with extensive experience in the construction industry. As Contracts Manager for Conway Engineering, he is responsible for delivery of all projects through construction stage, including project planning, design management, resource allocation, subcontractor management and Client liaison. He has managed the delivery of numerous projects for Conway Engineering including Mountmellick WwTP upgrade, Curragh WwTP DBO, Meath 4 Towns WwTP Upgrades and is currently delivering Phase 2 of the Inlet Works Storm Sludge Management & NCAP programme on behalf of Irish Water.

Alan Gerety

BIM Manager

Alan is widely experienced in the production of civil, mechanical, electrical 3D models and drawings for water and wastewater treatment plants, having worked in this area for almost 20 years. He is responsible for all company BIM & Digital Construction requirements utilising Autodesk Revit, Plant 3D, Civil 3D , Inventor Professional and Twinmotion.

Kevin Murphy

Civil & Structural Design Lead

Kevin is the Civil & Structural design lead with extensive experience in civil/structural engineering design in the construction industry. He has worked on the detailed design delivery for numerous projects including Daingean WwTP upgrade, Kilnaleck WwTP upgrade and Cavan Town WwTP upgrade

Liam Murphy

Electrical Design Manager

Liam is Electrical & ICA Design Manager at Conway Engineering. He has over 18 years experience, as an electrician and Electrical Engineer. Since joining Conway Engineering, Liam has been responsible for LV Electrical design and construction on numerous projects such as Malahide WwTP upgrade, Blacklion WwTP upgrade, Crohane Pump Station and Ballinamore WwTP Upgrade

Jošt Valič

Mechanical Design Lead

Jost is the lead Mechanical Design Engineer, with 20 years experience in mechanical design. He is integral to production of high quality mechanical design and management of factory production control processes in our manufacturing department.

Patrick Sheahan

Project Manager

Patrick is a qualified Civil Engineer with over 10 year’s design and construction experience in the water and wastewater sector. Patrick manages the delivery of projects on site for Irish Water under the Minor MEICA framework. Key project experience includes Barndarrig WwTP upgrade, Camolin WwTP upgrade, Dublin Port WTP, Malahide WwTP upgrade and National P Removal programme.

Paul Sheehan

Project Manager

Paul is a highly qualified and capable Project Manager with extensive experience in construction project management for water and wastewater plant upgrades. He manages the delivery of projects on site for Irish Water as part of our IWSS & NCAP programme. Key project experience includes Blacklion WwTP upgrade, Shercock WwTP Upgrade, and Ballyhaise WwTP upgrade.
