Conway Engineering has been in operation for over 40 years, specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of engineering solutions to meet requirements and specifications of industrial and municipal projects.

Conway Engineering is a family company. Today, we’re building on the work of Willie and Christine Conway who founded the business as a mechanical manufacturing company in 1979. As the years have gone by, we’ve grown from our family’s original vision, adding design capabilities that mean we can deliver complete projects from design and manufacture, to installation and commissioning for our customers in a variety of industries.

Your first and only point of contact

We’re the first and only point of contact for water and wastewater treatment. Our clients have confidence we can deliver because we combine our in-house design department that specialises in mechanical, electrical and civil engineering, together with our in-house mechanical department that designs, installs and commissions the mechanical element for all our projects.

A unique blend of skills

Conway Engineering started life as a steel fabrication company. Some of our experienced mechanical fitters have been with the business for over 20 years. They’re experts in manufacturing and installing stainless and HDG steel structures and in refurbishing existing machinery.

Together they work side by side with our professional design, consulting, and contract management teams that we’ve added as the business has expanded. Their knowledge of mechanical, electrical and civil engineering design for the water and wastewater industry enables us to offer our clients a full service — unique for a company of our size.

We’re not the biggest in the business, so we work hard at innovating where we can. We take the time at the start of a project; we investigate, we ask questions, we consider all the options, we obsess over details. We build 3D models which we show our customers during workshops, which helps the project team assess potential risks and identify issues before they arise. 

That means when it’s time to go on site, we have a plan that’s been tested and proven, and a design we can stand over. This thorough preparation enables us to complete projects on time and within budget.
